Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments tailored to pediatric patients, including evaluating motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each child's unique needs, goals, and medical conditions. Implement engaging occupational therapy programs focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-care routines. Assist children with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders, neurological and genetic impairments by providing targeted interventions and support strategies. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including speech therapists, physical therapists, educators, and medical professionals—to ensure cohesive care plans and optimal patient outcomes. Manage clinical documentation accurately within electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and confidentiality protocols. Support discharge planning by preparing families and caregivers with strategies for continued progress at home or in school settings. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist in accordance with New York State. Proven experience working with children in various settings such as outpatient clinics, schools, inpatient units, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology and anatomy related to occupational therapy assessments and treatment plan development. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and supporting clients through evidence-based practices. Familiarity with medical documentation standards, electronic health records (EHR) management, and clinical interprofessional collaboration. Ability to assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), discharge planning, and implementing occupational therapy programs effectively. Pay:

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per hour
