Part-time, Full-time Occupational Therapist Job Summary:
Sands Point Center for Health & Rehabilitation, a leading nursing and rehabilitation center in Long Island, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our patients. Responsibilities:
Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing Ensure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care and proven intervention to patients with a variety of personalities Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients' motion and mobility Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers; consult with other health professionals Monitor patient response to treatment intervention Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations Work collaboratively with a supportive team of therapists and nursing staff
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy 1 year of experience in occupational therapy; new graduates and those with limited permits are welcome to apply Possess and maintain a valid Occupational Therapy License (OTL) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
