The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Barnwell is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist .

25-minutes from Albany, NY About The Role Occupational Therapist will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that help residents improve functional independence and quality of life. This role is ideal for OTs who value patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and work-life balance . Occupational Therapist Key Responsibilities Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans Implement treatment plans focused on improving functional independence and daily living skills Assess and document resident progress through daily notes, progress reports, and re-certifications Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation Ensure confidentiality of resident information at all times Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as assigned Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration Assist with departmental projects, reporting, and data tracking as directed by the Rehab Director Occupational Therapist Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current New York State Occupational Therapist (OT) license required Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred (not required) Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative rehab team What We Offer Stable, full-time opportunity Competitive weekly pay Same day pay feature Comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) Generous paid time off (PTO) Medical, vision, and dental insurance Continuing education and professional development Supportive leadership and collaborative rehab environment Healthy work-life balance Employee perks and discounts Apply Today Apply online today!
