PRN Coverage Weekend and Holiday Coverage Onsite Akron, OH Summary:
The Occupational Therapist utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate/assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.
Responsibilities:
Utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities. Communicates effectively with patient, family members, and team members as needed. Performs appropriate and necessary documentation and patient/family education. Supervises COTA/L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations. Other duties as required.
Other information:
Technical Expertise Experience in occupational therapy is required. Experience working with all levels within an organization is required. Experience in healthcare is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
Education and Experience Education:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required; Master's degree is preferred.
Certification:
Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure is required.
Years of relevant experience:
Minimum 3 years is preferred.

None.
