9677795-45103 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students ranging from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. This engaging position is ideal for a licensed Occupational Therapist eager to support young learners in a school-based environment located near Batavia, OH. With at least four days per week onsite preferred, you'll play a crucial role in helping children and adolescents achieve their fullest potential. Your impact will be felt as you assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions designed to improve fine motor skills, independence, and classroom participation. The school is also open to considering qualified virtual, short-term occupational therapy professionals, making this a unique chance for both onsite and VOCO candidates to contribute.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Confidence supporting students from pre-K through high school Comfort working onsite for a minimum of four days per week Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for a diverse PK-12 caseload Deliver targeted OT interventions to foster student growth in academic and daily living skills Work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to track progress and meet students goals Document services provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and professional guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student success
