Job Description
Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) - Belpre, OH Build your pediatric OT career with an established nonprofit children's health system where your work directly helps children become more independent at home, at school, and in their communities. Relient Health is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for a pediatric outpatient position in Belpre, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pediatric therapist or a new graduate who is committed to working with children and families. Position Highlights $10,000 sign-on bonus available for this Belpre Occupational Therapist position. Pediatric outpatient setting Full-time, 36 hours per week Daytime schedule Permanent, direct-hire position Estimated pay of approximately $38-$48 per hour, based on experience New graduates are welcome Pediatric experience is preferred but not required Supportive, interdisciplinary pediatric care environment Virtual first interview followed by an optional onsite visit Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Opportunity Because the employer is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) children's healthcare organization, qualifying employees may be able to make progress toward federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF). Under PSLF, eligible borrowers may have the remaining balance on qualifying federal Direct Loans forgiven after making 120 qualifying payments while working full-time for an eligible employer. The organization also provides employees with assistance completing the required PSLF employment certification paperwork. Individual eligibility depends on the employee's loans, repayment plan, payments, and other federal program requirements. Compensation and Benefits Eligible employees receive a substantial benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, and vision coverage beginning the first of the month after hire PTO that begins accruing from the start of employment 403(b) retirement plan with automatic enrollment and employer matching after eligibility requirements are met Employer-funded 401(a) retirement contribution of approximately 2%-5% of covered wages after one year of eligible service Full vesting in the 401(a) plan after three years of eligible service Education assistance of up to $5,250 annually after 90 days Health savings and flexible spending account options Employer-provided and voluntary life and disability insurance options Adoption reimbursement and family-support resources Childcare, fitness, travel, entertainment, and other employee discounts What You'll Do Evaluate and treat children with physical, developmental, educational, or psychosocial needs Develop individualized plans of care based on each child's abilities and goals Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions Educate and collaborate with parents, caregivers, and family members Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, educators, and other members of the pediatric care team Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Supervise COTAs, students, or volunteers when appropriate and permitted by Ohio regulations Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy program NBCOT certification Current Ohio Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Genuine interest in helping children and families succeed Experienced pediatric OTs are encouraged to apply, but pediatric experience is not required.
