This contract opportunity for an Occupational Therapist is tailored for professionals who thrive on flexibility and are passionate about fostering student success. Located in the greater Brunswick, OH area, you'll play a vital role focused on testing and supervision within school settings—no ongoing therapy sessions required.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure in Ohio Background working in school, home health, or general healthcare OT settings Experience with IEP processes and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Comfortable conducting student assessments and providing virtual or onsite supervision Excellent organizational and communication skills Self-motivated and able to manage a flexible, variable schedule
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy testing for students as needed Oversee and supervise OT services provided by support staff, both virtually and in-person Collaborate with the IEP Coordinator to tailor your weekly schedule based on current testing and supervision requirements Engage in virtual supervision some weeks; other weeks, provide onsite testing support for up to three days based on student needs Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner Communicate assessment outcomes and supervision notes effectively with school personnel and families Adapt your clinical approach to diverse student populations and learning environments
