Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. This position is designed for a skilled professional passionate about making a positive impact in school-based settings. The role offers a set schedule of two days per week, allowing for valuable work-life balance while still contributing meaningfully to young learners' educational journeys. You'll work with a caseload consisting of three pre-kindergarten students and eight students in kindergarten through fifth grade, including one consultative assignment. Your expertise will play an essential role in helping students develop foundational skills, succeed academically, and participate fully in their school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT preferred Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and student documentation Comfort working independently and as part of a collaborative school support team Effective communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to pre-K through 5th grade students, adapting approaches as needed Complete assessments, develop intervention plans, and maintain timely documentation in accordance with school guidelines Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes Provide individual or small-group interventions, as well as consultation for designated students Monitor progress, communicate regularly with team members, and adjust strategies as needed If you want to contribute your skills in a flexible, student-centered environment, this position offers the ideal blend of professional impact and manageable hours.
