Qualifications:

Valid Ohio pupil service license (may start pending licensure; apply through the Ohio Department of Education) Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist, particularly in school settings, is preferred Flexibility to work across different school environments as needed Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations to determine students functional therapy needs within the educational environment Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to promote students participation in school activities Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services provided and progress achieved Offer support and training to educational staff and families regarding student needs and strategies for success Adapt interventions to accommodate diverse student abilities and classroom settings
