Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity designed for licensed Occupational Therapists who are passionate about supporting students from kindergarten through high school. Located near Columbus, OH, this role allows you to make a meaningful impact throughout the school district, working with K-12 students to enhance their development and daily living skills during the academic year. Youll collaborate closely with educators and families, crafting individualized plans that help students of all abilities thrive in the classroom environment. This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027, offering a consistent, full-time weekday schedule at 37.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
Valid OH Occupational Therapist certification (compact licensure accepted) Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings is highly desirable Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and service delivery Ability to manage a varied caseload of K-12 students Excellent communication and teamwork skills Proficiency with telehealth technology (for virtual meetings/interviews)
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate student needs and develop individualized intervention plans Deliver direct therapy services to meet educational and functional goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families on student progress Track and report data on interventions, maintaining compliance with district and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams This contract offers the stability of a full school year assignment, with the flexibility to utilize your compact licensure.
