Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the academic and personal lives of students as an Occupational Therapist supporting public schools in the Stow, OH area. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals passionate about facilitating student success and wellbeing in an educational environment. Youll work collaboratively with educators and families to assess and address students needs, support IEP goals, and promote independence for learners from elementary through high school. Carry a caseload that is manageable and deeply rewarding, where each day brings the chance to foster new skills and positive outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Current and valid Occupational Therapist license for Ohio Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued Understanding of IEP process and ability to contribute to multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and organizational skills Flexibility in working with diverse age groups and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of interventions and outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting Travel between assigned school sites as needed Experience a consistent full-time schedule, with 37.540 hours per week during the school year.
