Necessary Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Ohio Experience working in school settings preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families Innovative problem solver passionate about student growth Strong communication skills and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized OT intervention plans Implement therapy sessions, adapting techniques to each student's unique requirements Work closely with educators and support staff to integrate strategies into daily classroom activities Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policy and professional standards Serve as an advocate for students' independence and inclusion Provide guidance or supervision to COTAs, if applicable In this flexible role, your expertise will make a meaningful impact while you help empower students to overcome challenges and achieve their goals within the school setting.
