Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role working with students as a school-based Occupational Therapist on a contract assignment in a dynamic educational setting. This opportunity is ideal for a passionate OT excited to make a real difference in children's lives, collaborating with colleagues and engaging families as part of a caring and student-centered team.
Assignment Details:
Position runs from October 22nd through December 21st Four days per week, totaling 32 hours weekly Serve students in schools near the Springfield and Beavercreek areas
Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Ohio Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and settings Demonstrated organizational skills for documentation and scheduling Established knowledge in assessment, intervention planning, and report writing
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under IEPs or 504 plans Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations in accordance with district requirements Develop targeted intervention strategies to support student success and participation Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure effective service delivery Maintain detailed therapy documentation and contribute to IEP meetings Empower students to build essential skills for educational success and independence Benefits include a supportive educational environment, contract flexibility, and the opportunity to help students achieve meaningful developmental milestones.
