Kemper House Highland Heights is looking for motivated, energetic, and passionate people to join our Reablement Program as a Brain Health Instructor or Teacher. Staff in this position facilitates an innovative cognitive and physical restoration program for residents of our community who live with Dementia. The ideal candidate engages clientele in a positive and upbeat manner and contributes to a curriculum that is designed to improve cognitive abilities as well as overall health and performance of older adults, helping them live more independently. Days and hours vary. The Ideal Candidate(s) have the following qualifications: Teaching/Training/Coaching experience; Effective classroom management skills; Strong communication skills and the ability to be adaptive and creative; Sense of humor and ability to bring enjoyment to the group while instructing. Full and Part Time positions may be available. Brain Health / Neuroscience experience and a Bachelor's degree is helpful but not required. Occupational Therapists have been very successful in this role as well!
Salary:
Negotiable depending on demonstrated qualifications and experience.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
