9659973-43081 Job Description Embark on a fulfilling opportunity as a long-term substitute Occupational Therapist supporting special education students in a vibrant educational setting. This in-person, contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact from mid-December 2026 through the end of March 2027.

Responsibilities include:

Providing direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement strategies that maximize student success Conducting assessments, writing progress reports, and maintaining accurate documentation Supporting students in the classroom and other school environments to promote functional independence and access to the curriculum Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Desired qualifications and experience: Valid Ohio Occupational Therapist license required Strong background in school-based OT practices and familiarity with IEP processes Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued This role provides a chance to work within a dedicated special education department, contributing your expertise to help students thrive.
