Kids Choice Pediatric Rehab & Therapy Center is seeking to hire an energetic, passionate, and patient-focused occupational therapist to join our team! We have current openings for a full-time, part-time, or PRN occupational therapist to provide services through our clinic and through our community partnerships. We are flexible with schedules and can work around yours! Kids Choice is looking for candidates that are highly motivated, ethical, compassionate, empathic, professional, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job responsibilities:

To provide evidence-based, client-centered, OT services to children To demonstrate knowledge of normal childhood development as it relates to fine motor coordination, visual processing, gross motor coordination, self-help skills, sensory processing, handwriting, play, and social-emotional skills To demonstrate comprehension with evaluating and identifying deficits in age-appropriate skills and designing appropriate treatment plans and goals To demonstrate innovative treatment skills and approaches as well as the ability to upgrade and downgrade activities accordingly Report to the Practice Manager and the Director Responsible for supervision of COTAs (note cosigning, etc.)

Qualifications and Experience:

Pediatric experience is preferred Experience with administration of the following standardized assessments, PDMS-2 and Beery VMI is preferred Reasonable productivity and accountability standards Demonstrate adequate computer skills New grads are welcomed to apply Must obtain criminal background check and child abuse clearance with no record Must be licensed in Ohio, or able to obtain a license in
