1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Long Term Care position requiring 1+ years of experience and prior LTC or rehab setting experience. Details Long term care (LTC) setting focused on cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly hours 13-week assignment No weekend or on-call requirements Requirements Active OT license required (license required if applicable) 1+ years of OT experience required LTC or Rehab setting experience required New grads considered if they completed a Level II fieldwork experience Resume required for consideration Skills checklist within 1 year required for consideration 1 reference required at time of consideration Additional Information Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plans of care Provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devices Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Document all clinically required information in the electronic documentation system Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings Supervise and support occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students Adhere to NBCOT and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards No more than 7 days of RTO can be requested
