Licensure-certification, travel and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop individualized plans of care. Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions. Provide skilled, medically necessary occupational therapy treatment, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devices. Assess progress, adjust treatments as needed, and evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Communicate with patients and families/caregivers, and collaborate with the broader health team on barriers and treatment plans. Document all required information in the electronic documentation system, including recording treatment minutes accurately. Participate in required meetings and facility/company trainings, and complete required discharge summaries.
