Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Exciting full-time opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to make a lasting impact in a K-12 educational setting near Yukon, OK! This contract position offers a supportive environment with a focus on student success, allowing you to work with diverse students while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The assignment is scheduled from August 11, 2026, through May 20, 2027, with guaranteed hours and competitive benefits for full-time team members.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license for the state Experience providing OT services to K-12 students, ideally in a school-based setting Strong understanding of IEP development, documentation, and implementation Ability to deliver both direct and consultative/indirect services Exceptional organizational and communication skills Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students across K-12, focusing on maximizing participation and function within the educational environment Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights regarding student needs Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all therapy sessions and activities Collaborate with other school staff to promote a positive and inclusive environment Work exclusively within contracted hours, with no extra district duties such as bus or pick-up assignments
