9591389-97351 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity delivering essential services to young learners through an Early Intervention (EI) program in the greater Independence, OR area. This full-time position (40 hours per week) offers a chance to make a meaningful impact as part of a skilled evaluation team, supporting early childhood development in partnership with dedicated professionals. You'll join a collaborative environment focused on providing occupational therapy services to preschool-aged children. As an itinerant practitioner, you will work in various settings within the community, utilizing your expertise to assess and address students unique needs, promote skill building, and foster inclusive education.
Qualifications and Experience:
Occupational Therapy license (current and valid in Oregon) Previous experience in schools or early childhood settings preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and report-writing skills Familiarity with Early Intervention and preschool-age caseloads a plus Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments as part of a comprehensive evaluation team Provide OT services to children ages 0-5 in diverse EI settings Develop and implement individualized intervention plans Work closely with families, educators, and the EI team to support student goals Maintain accurate documentation and timely records Adapt services for a variety of learning environments as an itinerant OT This is a fantastic chance to expand your skills in early intervention and make a direct difference in childrens lives.
