Desired Qualifications:

Active Oregon Occupational Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain by start date) Prior experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist or in a similar pediatric setting Solid grasp of IEP processes, documentation, and team collaboration Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities Compassionate, student-centered approach with a dedication to fostering independence and participation Comfortable traveling within Clatsop County as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations of students motor, sensory, and functional skills within the educational setting Develop and implement customized therapy plans in alignment with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, families, and administrators to monitor progress and adjust strategies Document services and maintain compliance with district and state requirements Deliver direct intervention individually or in small groups, focusing on enhancing students ability to access and engage in curriculum Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations to support student success
