Job Description

Bring your expertise to a dynamic contract opportunity focused on making a difference in early childhood educational settings. This role supports students across early childhood programs, providing essential services to help them reach their fullest potential. With a caseload concentrated in Lackawanna County and on-site engagement, youll work closely with staff and families to foster growth in young learners. This position offers a consistent weekly schedule of approximately 21 hours across 2-3 days, with the potential to expand to a full-time commitment of 5 days/week as needs evolve during the school year. The term extends through June 16, 2027, providing both stability and the rewarding experience of watching your students progress.
What You Bring:
Active PA Occupational Therapy license in good standing, or ability to obtain Previous experience in school-based settings is highly preferred Skilled at supporting the developmental needs of early childhood and young learners Ability to secure or provide current PA clearances as required for school personnel Compassionate communicator and collaborative team player Flexibility to adapt to a growing caseload and changing school needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based OT interventions for students ages 3-8 in early learning settings Collaborate with educational teams, families, and support staff Assess, plan, and document student progress and goals Contribute proactive strategies to support student participation and skill development Participate in IEP meetings and consultative services as needed Adhere to all relevant school policies and professional standards
