This full-time, 35-hour per week role is ideal for an Occupational Therapist passionate about making a meaningful impact in educational settings. You'll support students' growth and development while collaborating with dedicated professionals and engaging families in the learning journey.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Prior experience in school-based settings or strong interest in pediatric populations Ability to adapt strategies for students of varying ages and abilities (K-12) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Initiative and organizational skills to manage responsibilities across several locations
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored occupational therapy services to support students' academic engagement and functional independence Assess and document students' needs, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Consult and collaborate with teachers, educational teams, and families Contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations and IEP development Participate in professional development and team meetings as needed Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines This contract position offers a varied, vibrant workday and the satisfaction of empowering students to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
