Job Description

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the provision of Occupational Therapy interventions for each client as assigned. These interventions will be designed to provide skilled therapeutic services to individuals with traumatic brain injuries to improve functional independence, cognitive abilities, and quality of life. The Occupational Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements individualized treatment programs that address physical, cognitive, perceptual, and psychosocial deficits resulting from TBI.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Comply with all Success Rehabilitation Inc.'s policies and procedures, as stated in all company manuals. Be familiar with the mission of SRI and work towards assuring that this mission is integrated as part of all job efforts. Provide therapy sessions as scheduled for each assigned client. Supply written progress notes after each scheduled session. Complete evaluations, recertifications, and discharge documentation in a timely manner to ensure compliance with insurer requirements. Submit monthly clinical reports for each client by the end of the week of that client's Clinical Review. Communicate as necessary with clinical team and residential staff regarding specific client issues. Complete assessments on prospective and/or new clients as indicated. As part of the Clinical Team, participate in the development of predicted outcomes for assigned clients. Attend Clinical Team meetings and family meetings as indicated. Rotate between Success Rehab Facilities (Bethlehem, Quakertown, Dublin). Perform all other duties and tasks assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Good verbal and written communication skills. Good interpersonal relations. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of neurological rehabilitation and TBI interventions.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility to sit for licensure exam immediately following graduation.
