You'll work with small groups of 5-6 students per grade level, fostering hands-on engagement and individualized skill-building. Qualifications:
Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist Experience in school-based, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy OT settings Skilled at developing and implementing effective interventions for middle school-aged students Strong communication abilities to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Dedication to fostering participation, confidence, and academic success in young learners Adaptability to work with small group models and adjust activities per student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans addressing fine motor skills, self-regulation, sensory processing, and daily living strategies Deliver engaging therapy sessions in a group setting, promoting collaboration and peer support Document progress, adjust interventions, and communicate regularly with the school team Educate staff and families on strategies for carryover of therapy goals within the school and home Incorporate innovative approaches—onsite or via teletherapy, as needed—to meet each student's unique needs This position offers the chance to make a powerful difference in students' lives while embracing work flexibility.
