This full-time Occupational Therapist position is essential in serving a diverse school-age population (Kindergarten through age 22) within the Low Incidence Program, including students receiving autistic support, those with life skills challenges, and individuals with multiple disabilities. Experience with this type of population, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage the necessary paperwork and documentation requirements will be key to thriving in this setting. Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to make a meaningful impact each day.
What Youll Bring:
Licensure as an Occupational Therapist, with relevant credentials in the state Prior experience working with school-age youth in special education settings, especially those in autistic support, life skills, or with multiple disabilities Strong organizational skills and comfort with documentation and paperwork demands Ability to adapt interventions and support individualized student needs Collaborative, positive approach when working with educators and related service providers Commitment to creating accessible, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to Kage 22 students in the Low Incidence Program Assess students skills and create tailored intervention plans Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with educational guidelines Work closely with teachers, aides, and family members to ensure successful interventions and goal tracking Participate in IEP meetings and progress evaluations as needed This role spans five days a week and offers a dynamic, supportive educational environment.
