Occupational Therapist School Setting in Schnecksville, PA Bilingual Therapies - 2.9 Schnecksville, PA Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree OTR School systems occupational therapy Early intervention Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for Occupational Therapists specializing in preschool early intervention services in the Schnecksville, PA area. This position serves preschool children through itinerant services, with flexibility to support PreK through 12th-grade students during the school year. Therapists will be working within Carbon or Lehigh County, providing vital early intervention and school-based OT support.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver itinerant occupational therapy services to preschool children in early intervention. Adapt assignments to support school-age students (PreK-12) as needed during the school year. Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and federal regulations. Provide in-person therapy sessions and support families and educators within assigned districts.
Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania OT licensure. NBCOT certification. Valid Pennsylvania Practice Personnel Identifier (PPID) number. Experience delivering occupational therapy services in early intervention and school settings. Flexibility to work with a range of age groups from preschool to grade 12. Ability to provide services in-person only.
Location:
Positions available throughout Carbon County or Lehigh County, with the IU main office located in Schnecksville, PA.
Schedule:
35 hours per week, with assignments beginning ASAP through the 2026-27 school year (tentative). Early intervention services operate year-round based on a separate calendar.
