Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Current license or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania Experience in school-based, home health, healthcare, and/or teletherapy occupational therapy Comfort working with middle school-aged students in small group settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families Ability to develop and implement interventions specific to students' educational and developmental needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to middle school students in small groups of 5-6 per grade level Assess students' needs, create individualized goals, and adapt sessions as necessary Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure consistent support for student progress Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain accurate student records in accordance with school protocols Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered plans
