Compensation:

$75.00 per treatment and $90.00 per patient evaluation - 1099 independent contractor

Job Description:

We seek an enthusiastic, experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing team as a 1099 Contractor . In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to provide one-on-one patient care, ensuring a personalized, comprehensive approach to treatment.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients' functional status and occupational therapy needs in their homes. Develop individualized treatment plans consistent with patients' needs and capabilities. Implement and adapt interventions as appropriate to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities and reach their goals. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about patient's functional level, self-care strategies, and home safety techniques. Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient services to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate coordination of care.

Requirements:

Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan. Minimum of two years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in home health settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Northwest, MI area. Comfortable working with a diverse range of patients, including individuals with physical disabilities, chronic illness, and cognitive impairments. Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth platforms.
