This is a full-time role that offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients receiving care in their homes. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care. This role works closely with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and other interdisciplinary team members to help patients improve function, maintain independence, and enhance quality of life. Daily responsibilities include completing evaluations and reassessments, providing therapy interventions, educating patients and caregivers, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating with the care team to achieve positive patient outcomes. Qualifications Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of Kansas required. Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) or other recognized accrediting body. Minimum of one (1) year of Occupational Therapy experience in a clinical setting preferred. Home health experience preferred. Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team. Current CPR certification and TB test required. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required. Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
