We are seeking a 1099 Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services on a VERY part-time basis (~1-3 hours per week). This role is to provide IEP services for one student with medical needs. Duties Provide occupational therapy services for one student with individualized needs in a school setting. Conduct or review evaluations as needed and develop/update the students' OT goals and services. Deliver direct and compensatory therapy sessions (frequency determined by the IEP). Provide consultative support to the teacher and staff to help the students access the curriculum and school environment. Address sensory regulation, fine-motor, visual-motor, and functional school participation skills as appropriate. Document therapy sessions and progress notes in accordance with school and state requirements. Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with the educational team and family. Recommend classroom accommodations, environmental supports, or adaptive tools tailored to the students' needs. Requirements Valid Ohio occupational therapy license (or OT Compact privilege for Ohio) Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Experience working with children or in a school setting. Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families. Strong communication and documentation skills. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Able to work very part-time (approximately 1-3 hours per week) . Ability to pass required school or district background checks.
Pay:
$55.00 - $58.00 per hour
