St. Anthony of Padua - Parma Clock Full Time Cross St. Anthony of Padua Parish - Parma Fill 1100 Parma, OH St. Anthony of Padua — Parma, Ohio Position Summary St. Anthony of Padua is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Supervisor to maintain the parish rectory, church, school buildings, and grounds, ensuring all facilities remain safe, functional, and available for productive use. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general maintenance, a strong work ethic, the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently, and the flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance issues outside of normal working hours. This position will work closely with the Pastor, Business Manager, Principal, and other staff as needed.

Full-time, 40-50 hours per week with varied hours
Salary:
$52,000-$62,000, depending on experience and skill level Essential Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and basic mechanical work. Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure proper operation and safety. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours and weekend issues. Maintain parish and school grounds, including winter maintenance, landscaping, debris removal, and seasonal upkeep. Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and maintenance logs. Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, inspections, laws, codes, and requirements, including: Fire inspections Asbestos inspections Board of Health inspections Backflow prevention requirements Other applicable facility and safety requirements Assist with and oversee event and space setup and teardown as needed. Troubleshoot facility issues and determine the appropriate course of action. Oversee and manage building and renovation projects with guidance from the Business Manager. Oversee school and parish maintenance staff and assist volunteers who clean the church. Meet regularly with the Business Manager to review projects, purchases, supply orders, and other maintenance needs. Coordinate the purchase of maintenance and custodial supplies and equipment with approval from the Business Manager. Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance. Demonstrate trustworthiness and maintain confidentiality as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Hands-on experience in general maintenance and facility upkeep. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to effectively manage maintenance team members. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to respond to maintenance emergencies outside of normal working hours. Valid driver's license. Ability to successfully pass a required background check. Completion of Diocesan VIRTUS training is required. Must hold or be willing to obtain a Designated Asbestos Management Certificate . Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods. Ability to perform hands-on maintenance and groundskeeping tasks. Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations, including outside of regular working hours.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$52,000-$62,000, depending upon experience and skill level. Pension through Cleveland Diocese plans. Medical insurance through Cleveland Diocese plans. Schedule & Availability This is a full-time position requiring 40-50 hours per week with varied hours .
