Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This position involves delivering remote therapy sessions to students, enhancing their developmental progress through tailored intervention plans.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting virtual evaluations and assessments of students' occupational therapy needs Designing and implementing individualized telehealth therapy sessions Collaborating with educators and caregivers to support students' functional goals Documenting progress and maintaining thorough records compliant with regulatory standards Adapting therapy strategies based on remote engagement and feedback Ideal qualifications and experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license in the relevant state Proven experience in providing telehealth services, especially in educational environments Comfort and proficiency with digital platforms facilitating remote therapy Strong communication skills to engage students, families, and school team members effectively Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote settingLocation:
Alpharetta, GA This role is offered on a 1099 contract basis, providing flexibility and autonomy in managing caseloads and schedules.
