Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A School-Based Occupational Therapist position is available in Canby, OR, designed to serve students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role offers 10 hours per week, typically one day on-site with the flexibility to complete paperwork remotely from home. The assignment begins on September 8, 2026, and extends through June 12, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students aged K-12 within the school setting. Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student development and participation in school activities. Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress. Document and maintain thorough records of therapy interventions and outcomes. Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with school staff and families.
Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in school-based practice. Familiarity with K-12 student populations and educational environments. Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to children and adolescents. Ability to work independently and manage caseload with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
