Mountain Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation is currently searching for a talented Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team as a telehealth OT! Our facilities deliver outstanding care as well as foster strong employee bonds. We offer short-term to long-term care and a variety of living options and professional clinical services. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results. Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities Evaluate a Resident's condition and develop an appropriate rehabilitation plan. Help Residents to improve their mobility and ADLs. Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance. Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation. Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential. Supervise the activities of occupational therapy assistants when required. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Occupational Therapist Requirements Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Must hold current OT license or registration in state employed or be eligible to apply. Montana is a compact state. Montana residence is preferred. Experience in SNF is required. Completion of orientation required by company policy. Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment. Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job. Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
