Teletherapy Occupational Therapist | Florida VocoVision - 4.0 Port Saint Lucie, FL Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree Video conferences (communication methods) Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This fully remote position allows for delivering therapy sessions and assessments through a virtual platform, supporting students' developmental and educational needs. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and providing ongoing occupational therapy treatment via telehealth. Utilize interactive learning materials and digital tools to engage students and support their progress. Collaborate with educational staff and families as needed to ensure integrated care approaches. Maintain detailed documentation of assessments and therapy sessions in compliance with regulatory and school policies.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license with eligibility to practice in Florida Experience in school-based occupational therapy, preferably with telehealth service delivery Strong knowledge of pediatric developmental and educational therapies Ability to conduct assessments and therapy sessions remotely Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and school personnel Comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing (Zoom Pro access provided), and digital learning tools
Location:
This is a remote position serving students in the Port Saint Lucie, FL area. Contractors will have access to a comprehensive virtual platform including assessment tools, interactive learning resources, a Zoom Pro account for secure video sessions, and dedicated clinical and technical support teams. This infrastructure supports seamless delivery of therapy services and professional growth.
