As an Occupational Therapist with AdviniaCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and residents.

Responsibilities:

Provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with established programs and policies Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement effective treatment plans Provide training and education to caregiver staff and supervise other therapists, assistants, aides, and students as required Participate in quality improvement activities and continuous learning to stay current in the field Demonstrate ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisor

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy CEU's per state licensure requirements Appropriate licensing requirements by individual states must be maintained New graduates welcome! Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary Communication skills required for directing staff, customer relations, and marketing activities Ability to perform documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and direct patient care Requires intense attention and concentration Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language
