This contract assignment is designed for professionals ready to make an impact, covering a leave for approximately 6-12 weeks with immediate start through to early December. The schedule is ideal for those seeking flexibility, requiring commitment just one day each week for 7.5 hours, all on-site. This assignment provides the perfect setting to expand your background in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy while working directly with students across a variety of grade levels. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current OT licensure in Rhode Island (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience within school-based or pediatric settings preferred Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities Willingness to work on-site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong understanding of IEPs, assessments, and documentation requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs Conduct evaluations, develop goals, and create treatment plans Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs Foster a positive, student-centered therapeutic environment
