Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing specialized occupational therapy services to a homebound student, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a school-based setting. This part-time position involves delivering therapy in the student's home, ensuring continuity of care and tailored support throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting occupational therapy sessions in the student's home to address educational and developmental goals. Collaborating with educators and caregivers to implement effective therapeutic strategies. Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and healthcare regulations. Adhering to health and safety protocols to protect medically vulnerable individuals.
Qualifications and experience sought:
Active Rhode Island Occupational Therapist (OT) license. Experience providing occupational therapy services in school and healthcare environments. Ability to deliver services in a home-based setting, including proficiency in telehealth when applicable. Knowledge of health and safety procedures for working with medically vulnerable populations.

This onsite position is based in Providence, Rhode Island, serving a student in Johnston, RI.
