This short-term, contract position is designed for an OT who enjoys making a meaningful difference with a manageable 1-day-per-week schedule. You'll work on-site, serving students in an engaging educational setting while covering a 6-12 week leave, with immediate start through early December. What we're seeking: Active license to practice Occupational Therapy in Rhode Island Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy or pediatric settings preferred Comfortable working with K-12 students and collaborating with education staff Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing needs Ability to maintain thorough documentation and adhere to school-based compliance standards Role responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse student population in accordance with IEP goals Assess students' needs and track their progress Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Attend IEP meetings as needed and provide written reports Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment Here's what you'll enjoy: With this W2 contract, youll work one day per week (7.5 hours), allowing you to maintain a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle.
