Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Masters degree in Occupational Therapy is required Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based environment preferred Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families Creative, adaptable, and dedicated to providing effective interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate students and develop personalized therapy plans targeting fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills Collaborate with educators and families to support each students educational goals Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements Provide direct therapy sessions and recommend adaptive equipment or classroom modifications as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
