Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a real difference in students' lives! This position calls for an enthusiastic occupational therapy professional ready to provide top-notch school-based OT services. You'll work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to help students build functional skills for success in the educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state or eligibility for licensure Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Background providing occupational therapy in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred Skilled in IEP development and documentation Ability to evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapeutic interventions Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students as prescribed in IEPs Conduct assessments and document findings to inform intervention planning Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and parents to support student goals Maintain thorough records and report on students' progress and outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights Educate families and staff on strategies for carrying over therapy techniques As a valued member of this supportive school-based team, you'll help children and young adults develop the skills they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
