Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' growth and development as a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in a vibrant school setting near Hartsville, SC. This dynamic role offers the chance to make a lasting difference across elementary, middle, and high school environments, collaborating closely with educators and families.
Desired Qualifications:
Hold an active OT license for the state of South Carolina National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students is strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Skilled in delivering OT support to diverse learners and needs Exceptional organization and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized occupational therapy services as outlined in students' IEPs Complete all required OT-specific documentation for present levels, progress reports, and development of measurable OT goals Accurately manage Medicaid billing paperwork in compliance with school and state policies Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to foster optimal learning environments Engage families and teachers in facilitating student successes and generalizing skills across settings In this contract position, you'll leverage your expertise to directly impact students' academic and life skills, working within a supportive educational community.
