Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Contract Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services that support students' academic achievement, independence, and participation in the school setting. The OT job is near Charleston, SC. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals. Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with a variety of disabilities and developmental needs. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, parents, and related service providers. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state, district, and federal regulations. Recommend adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and sensory strategies to maximize student success. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain). NBCOT certification required. Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Why Join Us?
