1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) for a 12-week travel assignment supporting a Level I trauma center's top-performing inpatient rehab unit. Details Inpatient rehabilitation therapy unit with 24 rehab beds and 403 acute care beds Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Patient ratios of approximately 4 per shift on rehab unit and 10-12 per shift in acute care Documentation via Meditech Position floats between inpatient rehab unit and acute care therapy Call requirement of a minimum one full weekend per month Requirements Active OTR/L license required if applicable Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of experience required US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted) One professional reference required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Perform initial assessments, re-evaluations, and follow-up treatments Work within a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 1 Trauma Center Join a top 10 percent performing inpatient rehab unit Red scrub color required Facility maintains a fast-paced, team-oriented culture with an emphasis on professionalism and support Located less than one mile from the beach in Myrtle Beach, SC Local candidates not accepted; 50-mile radius rule applies
