1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehab/acute care unit, ideal for candidates with 1+ year of experience. Details Inpatient rehab (IRF) and acute care unit within a hospital setting 13-week assignment with a flexible schedule of 5x8 or 4x10 shifts, Monday through Friday One Saturday shift per month with a corresponding flex day off during the week Scheduled every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff Floating occurs between IRF and acute care units Utilizes specialized equipment including Lite Gait, BITS, Nustep, and IASTM Documentation completed in Meditech Requirements Active Occupational Therapist license required, if applicable 1+ year of experience preferred Inpatient rehab and acute care experience preferred but not required Basic Occupational Therapy skills as an independent clinician Willingness to learn and remain flexible throughout the day No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Join an award-winning Occupational Therapy team on a Joint Commission Stroke Certified Inpatient Rehab Unit Facility recognized with 2022 Guardians of Excellence award for patient satisfaction Facility holds a Leapfrog Grade A safety rating Work alongside an interdisciplinary team including PTs, SLPs, PTAs, COTAs, and RNs Emphasis on one-on-one patient care with productivity expectations below the national average at 75-80% Located within commutable distance from Charleston, SC Required uniform is light grey scrubs Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
