Key Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current, active OT license for South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with interdisciplinary teams Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students strengths and areas for development Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet students unique needs and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support students progress and success Maintain accurate, timely documentation of progress notes, assessments, and reports as required by school and regulatory guidelines Provide direct therapy sessions, adapt classroom activities, and make recommendations for environmental or instructional modifications Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise in developing goals, and offer professional recommendations
