This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a passion for educational environments. Youll enjoy collaborating with a supportive team while guiding and mentoring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) across multiple schools.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Tennessee Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to lead, support, and collaborate with COTAs Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and educational staff Reliable transportation for travel between sites within the district

What Youll Do:

Provide occupational therapy services for a caseload of approximately 120 students Oversee and mentor three COTAs distributed across the district Travel between schools as needed to ensure students goals are being met Attend IEP meetings, document progress, and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to foster students academic and social development Stay current on best practices and relevant state educational guidelines
