Job Description

Full Time day shift position available!! Patrick Rehab & Wellness Center is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Therapy department in a full time position. The basic purpose of this position is to provide therapeutic services including evaluation, treatment, and education along with monitoring the treatment activities of COTA's and aides.
Essential Functions:
Complete evaluations of assigned patients in accordance with the established standards of care and practice. Plan and provides treatment to assigned patients as appropriate in accordance with established standards of care and practice. Evaluation techniques are performed safely and accurately, taking into account the patient's premorbid history and current physical, and psychosocial and educational status/needs. Short- and long-term goals are realistic, measurable, and address functional needs. Goals are written upon completion of evaluation per department standards and guidelines. Goals are identified in collaboration with the patient, family, and other involved team members. Independently select and performs therapeutic techniques that are consistent with the patient's problems and medical status and reflect an integration of the therapist's clinical knowledge and theory. Identify appropriates resources beneficial to the patient within or outside the rehabilitation department and makes referrals to other professionals and services (i.e., vocational counseling, social service, RSD support group, cancer group, etc.) to ensure that all patient care needs are met. Completes all documentation of services per department standards. Occupational Therapist (OT)

Full Time Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Occupational Therapist (OT)
Qualifications and Skills:
State of Tennessee licensure (or eligible) as an Occupational Therapist CPR certification required Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school required Previous clinical experience/rehabilitation experience preferred
