Qualifications & Experience:

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Tennessee is required Experience in a school-based setting preferred Ability to oversee and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) Strong organizational skills for managing a caseload and providing support across multiple schools Reliable transportation for light local travel between school sites

Role Responsibilities:

Manage and provide direct OT services for approximately 120 students Design, implement, and assess individualized therapy plans that foster student growth and participation Oversee the work of three COTAs, offering mentorship, training, and supervision as needed Maintain accurate therapy records in compliance with district and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary staff to promote student independence and achievement Adapt interventions to diverse needs, ensuring that therapy remains student-centered and evidence-based
